Post 6009 Location

VFW Post 6009 is privileged to have its base of operations in the Felton Railroad Station on E. Railroad Ave. The Felton Railroad Station is a historic site located in Felton, Kent County, Delaware. It was built by the Delaware Railroad in 1868, and is a one-story, five bay, brick, Italianate-style building. It has a low hipped roof with shallow eaves, round-headed doorways and windows, and a projecting bow-front window. The station has been renovated and is now used by the Felton Historical Society for the town's museum and by VFW Post 6009 for its Post Home.

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.
